Ince Benet is a peaceful and inspiring retreat centre nestling in 50 acres of ancient woodland and gardens in the grounds of Ince Blundell Hall
We have ten stylish en suite bedrooms and communal rooms including large kitchen and chapel for groups seeking space to breathe, rest and reflect.
Built on the remains of a Benedictine Monastery we are located just ten miles away from Liverpool yet t feels like a million miles away from the hustle and bustle.

The rhododendrons are in full bloom at Ince Benet.
Did you know there are over 1,000 different species ranging from small shrubs to large trees?
Ince Benet is located in the grounds of the Georgian Ince Blundell Hall and offers 55 acres of woodland and gardens to explore.
Our weekends are busy but we have had a cancellation for the midsummer weekend of June 21/22 if you would like to make the most of this magical retreat centre.
We are open to all faiths and none providing a peaceful place for contemplation, restoration and prayer.
Our rooms start at £80 per person per night with a minimum booking of 5 rooms.

Our ancient woodland is going wild with wild garlic.

The woodland is so beautiful in April and May when the wild garlic flowers and the bluebells announce their arrival with a sea of pale blue as far as the eye can see.

When you book Ince Benet you get private access to our wonderful retreat centre and 55 acres of woodland and garden.

Our weekends are busy but we have midweek availability for both day and overnight retreats.

It's wild garlic time at Ince Benet.
The scent of garlic is filling the spring air with these lush green leaves that provide all of the flavour.
But it’s late April and early May when the woods at its finest when the flowers appear and join the bluebells to make everywhere pretty as a picture.
We still have midweek dates available for March, April and May if you’d like to make the most of this wonderful season.

As Lent begins the daffodils are blooming in the grounds of Ince Benet.
Daffodils are often seen as a symbol of renewal and rebirth associated with the season of Lent.
