🧘 Join us next Saturday 14th March for our first “Yoga for Runners” session. Held at the indoor track in Wavertree.

- £10 per session for none members
- £8 a session for members.

If you run, you need yoga. Here’s why:

✨ Improves flexibility:

Running tightens hamstrings, hip flexors, and calves. Yoga restores length to overworked muscles so you can stride more efficiently.

✨ Builds strength (the right kind):

Poses like Warrior and Chair strengthen stabilizing muscles in your hips, glutes, and core, the ones that protect your knees and lower back.

✨ Prevents injuries:

Better mobility + better alignment = less strain. Yoga helps correct imbalances that repetitive miles can create.

✨ Boosts breath control:

Controlled breathing in yoga improves lung capacity and teaches you to stay calm under stress — especially helpful during long runs or races.

✨ Supports recovery:

Gentle flows increase circulation, reduce soreness, and calm your nervous system after tough training sessions.

✨ Improves mental focus:

Running is as mental as it is physical. Yoga builds mindfulness, helping you stay present when the miles get hard.

Strong body. Calm mind. Smoother miles.

If you’re logging miles each week, add at least 1–2 yoga sessions and feel the difference.

More than just running. Our junior running club (ages 5–12) is about building foundations for life 🏃‍♀️✨

We teach:
⭐ Agility – moving quickly and safely
⭐ Balance – staying steady and strong
⭐ Coordination – connecting brain and body
⭐ Motor skills – learning how to move well
⭐ Confidence – believing “I can do this!”

Through fun games, drills, teamwork and plenty of laughter, our children learn skills that help them in sport, in school, and in everyday life.

We focus on:
✔️ Progress over perfection
✔️ Encouragement over pressure
✔️ Effort over winning
✔️ Confidence over comparison

Every jump, hop, sprint and wobble helps build stronger bodies and braver minds.

Because when children learn to trust their bodies…
they start to trust themselves 🧡

Ages 5–12. Fun. Supportive. Skill building. Comment Little Runners to get involved.

Our Little Runners were on the track today practicing some agility, balance and coordination. Getting the head and feet to work together isn’t easy especially when there are 5 stations to contend with, but they did it 🔥 It might take a few goes but practice makes perfect and the children did really well today.

Well done everyone 💪🏻

FEEDBACK -

What can I say about Alice… started with us in January after putting her running trainers back on for the first time in December and then showed up for every session. She traveled a long way to get there and her work effort has been on point… so the results showed, fast! She started with a 5k time of 27 minutes and finished last night with a 22:39 🤯🔥 You heard it here first, that Alice will be under 20 minutes by the end of this year 💪🏻

She has shown grit, determination and good training ethics and we have loved having her down. Well done Alice.

FEEDBACK - From .photos

Sorry for throwing the camera in your face as soon as you finished but I was really excited 😆 Four of exceptional runners, all covering furthest distances and quickest times. Running form has improved and I feel really confident about what the 2026 season looks like for these. Well done everyone 👏🏻
