Today would have been our baby girl’s due date. Last year felt like a whirlwind — moments and memories all blurring together. I found out I miscarried just ten days before our wedding and had surgery five days before we were married.

That week held both the deepest heartbreak and one of the happiest days of my life, and I still don’t know how to place it on any scale.

This was the only pregnancy where I knew the gender — a little girl — and with that comes so many what ifs and dreams of who she might have been.

Here’s to a new year, carrying her with us, and moving forward with hope 🩷
