We are incredibly grateful to for the opportunity to speak at the Northern Film and TV Gala Dinner and share more about our work 🎬🍿

Jake our CEO & founder stated: "The reaction in the room was a powerful reminder that people really do want to talk about mental health, and that these conversations don't always have to feel heavy. They can be open and shared with a smile, surrounded by friends and colleagues!" 💙

Last week we were invited to All Colleague Event!

Connecting with our communities and partners is what makes our work so meaningful. It was fantastic to spend time with the teams, hearing more about the work they’re doing across the North West and the positive impact!

Strong partnerships help us reach more people, in more places and together we can continue making a difference to how people find support for their mental health 💙

We look forward to continuing our work with United Utilities!

It's been a whole year since we relaunched the Hub of Hope with improved accessibility and a clear mission: to make mental health support easier to find💙

And what a year it’s been…
📱 Almost 300,000 users on the Hub of Hope
📲 33,472 new Hub of Hope app installs
🎓 86,000+ students supported through hashtag Student Roost
🤝 Founding partner in the National Su***de Prevention Network The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales

These milestones reflect strong collaboration across sectors and a shared commitment to improving access to support across the UK.

We could not keep the Hub of Hope free and accessible for the public to use without the backing of our partners, funders and donors. Your support enables this reach and impact. 💚

Our CEO, Jake Mills, recently joined the Edge Ahead Edge Hill University podcast to talk openly about lived experience, leadership, and building change from the ground up.

In this episode, Jake reflects on his journey from “treading water” with undiagnosed depression to founding Chasing The Stigma and creating Hub of Hope, now the UK’s leading mental health support directory, connecting hundreds of thousands of people to life-changing, and often life-saving, support.

We’re incredibly proud to see these conversations reaching wider audiences, and helping to break stigma through honesty, collaboration, and action.

We’re incredibly grateful to The Royal Foundation for bringing members of the National Su***de Prevention Network together to shape a shared vision for the next three years, and to begin building a clear, collective plan for action.

As a founding member of the Network, Chasing the Stigma is proud to be part of these vital conversations, alongside so many dedicated and inspiring organisations and individuals, all committed to preventing su***de and driving lasting change across the sector. 🫶

At the heart of this work are the values that truly make a difference: collaboration, inclusive practice and shared learning. Attending this week’s inaugural workshop for the National Su***de Prevention Network highlighted the need for action and the importance of developing systemic, joined-up ways of working across the sector to reduce preventable su***des.

This collective commitment, to work together, to listen, and to act, is how meaningful, long-term change happens. We’re honoured to be involved and excited about what we can achieve together.

It was a privilege for our very own Jake Mills to attend the London Government Dinner at Mansion House, an event with a rich history dating back to 1962, with its origins traced as far back as 1880 ✨

The annual dinner brings together representative bodies concerned with the government and administration of London, providing an important opportunity for the Lady Mayor, on behalf of the City of London Corporation, to welcome the Mayor of London, the Chair of London Councils, senior London Borough leaders, and others who play a vital role in the infrastructure and civic life of the capital.

Jake’s attendance reflects the growing strength of Chasing the Stigma’s engagement across the City of London, building on our work with the City Bridge Foundation and wider collaboration with partners who share a commitment to improving wellbeing, inclusion, and access to support.

Moments like these matter, not only for strengthening relationships, but for ensuring that mental health, prevention, and community-based support remain firmly part of the conversation shaping the future of our city 💚
