It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Thelma Wightman have asked us to annouce her passing and funeral arrangments.

7th January 2026
Aged 89 years

Back in the arms of her wonderful husband Raymond.
Much loved mum and proud nan to all her grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Thelma was such a strong character. She was a woman who held her own, a fiery, funny straight talking lady who loved to swear !!

She loved her holidays and she travelled the world in her hey day.
A wise woman with loads of life experiences.

Thelma will be missed & remembered with love by all her family and friends 🧡

The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday 21st January 2026, 10.40am at Anfield Crematorium.

Thelma's wishes were no black clothing to be worn. All colourful just how Thelma wanted it🧡

Family flowers only by request.
A donations box will be availiable, all monies will be gifted to Brookside Day Centre where Thelma loved to go with her friends.

Normally Jayne & our girls look after the social media - but today I’m doing it.

I would like to wish my beautiful wife a Happy 46th Birthday 🥳🥳

I want to celebrate someone who truly is the heart of Glentrees. Jayne, you are without question one of the most valuable people in our team and a person I feel incredibly lucky to not only work alongside you but to have you in my life.

Time and time again, families tell me how much your kindness, patience, and gentle guidance meant to them. You really are like an angel on their shoulder, helping them through the most difficult moments with such calm, compassion, and care. Nothing is ever too much for you, and the way you support families & look after our loved ones, as well as all of us — it does not go unnoticed.

From me, our family & our Glentrees family we wish you a very happy birthday and hope you have the most amazing day. Thank you for everything you do — we truly couldn’t do this without you. 💙💐

Jean Tynan
31st December 2025
Aged 83 years

Back in the arms of her beloved husband John.
Jean was a proud mum to her one and only daughter Rachel. They were best friends.
Her son in law David was the son she never had. She adored her three granddaughters Abigail, Alexis & Arabella, she loved spending time with them all 💖

Jean was a quiet lady, didnt like to make a fuss and bother anyone yet was always there for others. She was a pillar of strength and will be missed.

Jean came from a big family 3 sisters and 1 brother and lots of neices & nephews, they all will remember her with love 💖

The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday 15th January at Springwood Rosemary Chapel at 2.30pm followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery at 3pm.

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Pauline Hanmer have asked us to announce her passing and funeral arrangements.

30th December 2025
Aged 77 years

Back in the arms of her two sons Josh & Lewis who she forever missed.
Pauline was a beloved mum to Jason and her one and only daughter Michaela. They had a bond no-one could break, they loved doing life together. Best friends always.
She worshipped her grandchildren, such a proud nan and great grandma to Carter ❤️

Pauline battled her illness with such courage and dignity. Her family speak of how strong she was physical and mentally.
Such a wonderful woman who will be loved & remembered 🤍

The Funeral will take place on Tuesday 13th January 2026 at Anfield Crematorium 10.40am.

Pauline will be resting here with us and then her home address the evening before her final farewell.

The family would like you to join them at the Jolly Miller after the Service to share memories of Pauline.

Being entrusted with your loved ones is something we never take lightly, and along the way many families have become dear friends ❤️

Margaret Ellen Jones
7th December 2025
Aged 69 years

Margaret was a devoted mum to her one & only son Joseph. She idolised him and his family, she doted on her daughter in law Alicia and grandchildren Megan and Joe.

Margaret leaves behind not only her best friend, but her twin sister Ann, they were literally joined at the hip and they both loved doing life together.

A wonderful aunt to all her neices & nephews. Margaret was one in a million, an all round good egg, always the first to lend a hand. She will be loved and missed forever.

The Funeral Service will take place on Monday 22nd December 2025 at Anfield Crematorium at 2pm.

After the service the family would like you to join them at The Farmers Arms Pub to share memories of Margaret.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Memorial Mass ✨🎄✨

It was such an emotional yet truly beautiful evening, coming together to remember and celebrate the lives of our loved ones. 🤍

We were also incredibly proud to be joined by our talented niece, Jo, who sang for us and our families. As you all agreed, she truly has the voice of an angel 🤍

A heartfelt thank you once again to Reverend Will and all the parish at St Andrew’s. Your church was absolutely spectacular — warm, welcoming, and comforting in every way 🤍
