Expect Limited Expect is a registered charity providing health and social care services based in Sefton, Merseyside that has been operating for 35 years.

We offer individual focussed support to help you live your best possible life. Expect Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a domiciliary and residential service, providing a range of services for people living with mental illness and/ or learning disabilities. We uphold a strong community approach and focus the efforts of highly trained, motivated staff on supporting some of

the most isolated individuals in the community. Expect is a charity that emphasises the benefits of inclusion and social integration, operating an alternative approach to institutionalised care and support. Expect manages the operation of housing projects such as supported living provision, registered care homes and community outreach services in order to provide appropriate levels of support, in an appropriate lifestyle context to best support each individual we work with. In addition to this Expect operates a comprehensive day service support/ community facility called ‘The Bowersdale Centre’ in Seaforth. The charity works alongside other voluntary, community and charitable organisations from this hub facility to develop service provision for the maximum amount of people who we can help. Expect aims to promote the value of ordinary living opportunities and eliminate the segregation and stigmatisation of people who consider themselves to be disadvantaged by reason of their physical health, mental health or learning disability. To this end we provide services that aim to preserve and protect the well-being of the disadvantaged in our society on a not-for-profit, charitable basis.

Charlie was supported on Saturday to attend an Anime convention at Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester.

Charlie met a couple of his favourite voice over actors and pushed himself out of his comfort zone by chatting with them both. He got autographs and bought plenty of memorabilia! Charlie enjoyed the day out and the train adventure as well.

We hope you all had a lovely Easter!

Our team at The Bowersdale Resource Day Centre (BRC) had an eggs-citing day, with their Easter Party and Easter Egg Hunt. There was even time for a round of Easter Bingo.

As always- the Easter Bunny made a guest appearance to meet with service users and staff.

🌼 BRC Big Spring Clean
Over the past few weeks, our service users at the BRC have been out in the surrounding streets and local park, helping to keep our neighbourhood looking its best. As part of the Keep Britain Tidy – Big Spring Clean campaign, we’ve pledged to collect 10 bags of litter between 13th–29th March. Today we achieved our 10 bags, well done team!!!

It’s been a fantastic effort from everyone involved. Not only are we contributing to a cleaner, greener environment, but we’re also strengthening our connection with the local community. We’re proud to play our part in this national initiative and look forward to continuing our environmental efforts throughout the year.
