Grow Fit – 6 Week Empowerment Programme

We’re excited to be hosting Grow Fit, a fully funded 6-week empowerment programme designed to help you grow in confidence, resilience, and wellbeing both inside and out.

Across six supportive small-group sessions, Jen your empowerment coach will help you explore confidence, boundaries, self-awareness and positive mindset, alongside gentle movement, relaxation and practical wellbeing tools.

This isn’t about gym goals or quick fixes, it’s about building strength in yourself, at your own pace, in a welcoming and non-judgemental space.

Fully funded by West Derby Wastelands, this is a fantastic opportunity to invest in yourself without the financial barrier.

If you’re ready to feel stronger, clearer and more confident — this could be for you.

Get in touch to find out more or secure your place.

We were delighted to receive a donation of £1000 from the renowned author, Alan Moore. Alan heard about the work we do in our community from his daughter and he wanted to make a contribution to support us. A huge thank you to Alan for his amazing donation and to his daughter for championing us!

Coffee & Tea Afternoon at the Joseph Lappin Centre.

Our community asked for a regular space to come together for a brew and a chat, so we’ve made it happen! Our first coffee afternoon will be Friday 6th Feb. So come along!

It'll be a relaxed, social afternoon where everyone is welcome to come along, connect, and feel part of the community. We want this to be a friendly environment where new faces are always welcome and everyone who attends helps make it a lovely place to be

There’s a £3 suggested donation, which gives you unlimited tea, coffee, and biscuits, and helps us keep the session running.

Pop in, stay as long as you like, and enjoy a proper cuppa

Lovely to see so many passionate members of the community, food pantries and local food organisations coming together to share their lived experiences of the rising cost of food as part of the Right to Food UK Commission.
Alongside Knowsley, Newcastle, Belfast, Glasgow and London, Liverpool has been invited to feed into this work, led by MP Ian Byrne. We were proud to host the Liverpool session and to help make sure local voices were heard.
The experiences shared will be fed directly into Parliament, helping ensure that the realities faced by our communities are reflected in national conversations.
Thank you to everyone who took part and shared so openly.
