Cofabrico now is Cloud SaaS platform technology owned by Connect 4.0 Ltd . Connect 4.0 Ltd. Is a U.K B2B start-up based in Liverpool, founded in 2018. The company’s core business is the design and development of cloud based SaaS & API platform and its related know-how about the two concepts: Customer- Connected e-commerce and the Digital Supply Network Design system. Though a new concept “No channel” of industrial products sales, the aim is to transform the manufacturing industry towards a Product as a Service model, thanks to the automation and democratization of Product Customization & Personalization processes and an industrial approach to Manufacture to Order and close to the point of sale manufacturing sales.

Cofabrico.com is a web portal to connect customer to manufactures of customized products that integrates the customers in the product design process and aggregates production capabilities and supply based on customization. Cofabrico.com provides an online process for the order, production and supply of custom made to order products from manufacturers direct to consumers. In line with the development of industry 4.0 Cofabrico.com connects the needs of customers and the dynamic and flexible production network of suppliers of customized products. Designers upload their 3D drawings to Cofabrico.com and customers can access the designs online and communicate their specific wishes through AR product configurator. Designers can then turn the customers wishes into concepts hardware and/or software which they then can refine in close collaboration with the customer and the ODMs on the other side. Finally, a contract outlines the final concept , price and timing, the orders and pre-payment come in, and the ODMs develops and manufactures the product the result is just what the customer ordered.

Cofabrico.com works with a large network of certified suppliers, that are connected within Cofabrico.com through a cloud solution. Suppliers of customizable products offer their capacity and thus optimize their machine utilization.
