Ketamine and co***ne – severe sedation reported
We’ve received a report of someone becoming seriously unwell after using ketamine and co***ne together. The person experienced extreme sedation and needed emergency medical treatment.
Mixing drugs like this can be unpredictable and dangerous. Effects may come on quickly and feel much stronger than expected.
🔑 Key reminders
If someone is very drowsy, unresponsive, or struggling to breathe, call 999 immediately
You will not get into trouble for seeking medical help
Acting fast can save a life
🧪 We offer free testing strips for medetomidine, xylazine and nitazenes to help people make more informed decisions.

We have spent the morning down at the Liverpool Museum with Adam learning about Customs & Excise. All about the drugs, how there brought over and we was even shown some. Some of our Lifeboaters shared there experience and recovery journey and wow what an interesting morning!

REMINDER: Lifeboat is shut this week for half term, we will only be open for CA meetings and Ketamine Support Groups but on Wednesday we have a day out at the Walker Art Gallery 🎨🖌️

Tomorrow some of our Lifeboaters will be at a medical conference in Warrington with around 70 medics from the Bladder & Bowel Departments plus the Health Commissioner’s to do a Q&A workshop to help others understand the effects of Ketamine and how to help an addict still suffering in hospitals and surgeries.

How amazingly lucky are we to be privileged with the responsibility of being the voice of the people still suffering from this horrific drug. So proud of our Ketamine gang and all they are doing for their fellow addicts! 🛟🧡🛟🧡
