Our Story

Aromatherapy is the systematic use of plant oils known as essential oils for the treatment or prevention of disease. It is a form of complementary therapy designed to treat the whole person and not just the symptom or disease by assisting the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself. Essential oils are the fragrant, highly concentrated natural constituents that are found in plants. They are what give the plant its characteristic odour and contain the healing power of the plant from which it was extracted. When used correctly, essential oils bring a wide range of health benefits. I understand from a health perspective, the effect every day life has on us, the impact of man-made chemicals, the air we breathe, lack of nutrition and exercise and most importantly our state of mind. Working towards a holistic, whole approach on ourselves is detrimental for our future health and wellbeing. Understanding one of the most powerful tools in any treatment is the safe use of natural, plant based oils, with the therapeutic effects of aromatherapy oils - Which is why we have created Buddha Balm, so we can share our carefully selected blends we have been treating people with at Buddha Therapies, over the past 10 years, so you can enjoy them in your own home, at work, or out and about - Tracy McMahon .
