We received a lovely message from one of our mum's this morning. ❤️

"Delilah with her oball. Thanks Sarah and Laura, feeding has been much better.

Thank you for your help and support, we got more from those 30mins than we did in the 12 weeks of various other professionals!!

And all the unqualified people telling us she didn’t have a tie!!"

Holli shared these delightful photos of baby Delilah, playing with her O-ball as advised for post procedure exercises. (And gave consent for us to share)

If you have any concerns that your baby 👶 might be showing signs of a tongue-tie, it's always best to get checked by someone who is actually trained to fully assess the tongue function. 👅

Please book in using the link in our bio or call Helen on 07742178188.

*At least 36 children suffer toxic poisoning symptoms as baby formula recalled:*

The reports follow the Food Standards Agency confirming the recall of several batches of Nestlé infant formula and follow- on formula products on 5 January 2026 due to the possible presence of the cereulide toxin.

The UKHSA has been made aware of 36 cases of children developing symptoms consistent with cereulide toxin poisoning across the UK, including 24 in England, after consuming baby formula from the affected batches.

"Parents and caregivers are advised to recheck and remove all recalled formula from their homes to prevent illness in their children."

This is a very good illustration of paced bottle 🍼 feeding.

Paced bottle feeding is all about giving your baby more control during a feed. By slowing things down and creating natural pauses, you’re helping them stay comfortable, avoid taking in too much too quickly, and tune in to their own hunger cues.

How to pace a bottle feed:
• Sit your baby upright, roughly a 45-degree angle, with their head and neck supported. This helps them manage the flow more easily.
• Invite the latch by brushing the teat against their lip and waiting for that wide, ready mouth before offering the bottle.
• Keep the bottle horizontal, so the teat is only half-filled with milk. This stops the milk from pouring in and gives your baby a chance to set the pace.
• After three to five sucks, gently lower the bottle to pause the flow. These small breaks let them breathe, swallow, and reset before carrying on.
• Keep an eye on their fullness cues. Turning away, pushing the bottle out, or drifting off are all signs they’ve had enough.

Why it matters:
Pacing helps prevent overfeeding, reduces wind and posseting (where baby overflows milk), and makes feeds feel much calmer. It’s also brilliant for babies who switch between breast and bottle, as it mirrors the natural stop-start rhythm of breastfeeding. Most importantly, it supports responsive feeding, letting your baby lead the way and learn when they’re hungry and when they’re full.

From developing new ways to reach parents faster, to expanding our services and team, Tom helps INFANTTS grow while staying true to what matters most: supporting families with expert, compassionate care.

We always wanted our family-owned business to go beyond “running a clinic”. We wanted to build a national service parents can rely on when they need it most. 💛

In 2018, we’ve started our Liverpool clinic with no bookings, no logo and only 2 people.

But there was something amazing we had: a goal to help parents in their feeding journey through high-quality care 👩‍🍼

We’ve struggled with breastfeeding issues caused by tongue-tie, and know how stressful it was. We didn’t want to go through days waiting to be seen by a doctor, and then weeks for a procedure.

That’s why we’ve started INFANTTS, a high-quality infant-feeding clinic, helping parents with tongue-tie, breastfeeding and less-stressful parenthood.

And fast forward to 2025, we’ve grown to 10+ experts, 1000+ consultations and 7+ booked out clinics every week across the North West: Liverpool, Manchester, Stoke, Burnley, Stockport, Telford and Bury💜

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us and visited us throughout our journey so far, it means the world to our family-owned business. You’re the reason we do what we do!

📸 Meet the senior team who’ve been part of this journey from the start.

New clinic day!

Today was our first clinic at Court Street Medical Practice in Telford.

We saw four babies 👶, all of whom required a tongue-tie division 👅and feeding support.

The photo is of baby Rosie with her parents, Faye and Adam, following her procedure. (Consent gained for photo sharing)

We have already had enquiries for our next Telford clinic, so it looks like we may be busy at every clinic 😀 We look forward to welcoming more babies 👶 to our next clinic.

About us

INFANTTS came about following my youngest daughter’s tongue-tie division. My wife struggled to breastfeed our first two children, with both latching poorly and both suffering from reflux. When Bella arrived, she too struggled to latch and had poor weight gain. Having sought some breastfeeding support, Bella was diagnosed with tongue-tie and referred to hospital. After 6 stressful weeks Bella had a tongue-tie division. The change in Bella’s feeding was instant. Her latch improved and she soon started to put on weight. The guidance, advice and support my wife received post tongue-tie division was also hugely beneficial to both Bella and my wife. As a dad of three and knowing the stress and anxiety caused, of having a baby who does not feed well, I am passionate that this service should be readily available and accessible option to those who need it!
