The Liverpool Carers Centre recently presented Oak Vale Medical Centre with a “Carers Awareness Award”. In recognition of its commitment to support patients who are carers (paid and unpaid).

The Practice Carer board which is located in the foyer area (by the signing in screen) provides useful information on services available for carers.
Carer registration form(s) for family members can be obtained from reception, this helps to ensure that the practice can clearly identify carers.

You can in addition contact directly the Liverpool Carers Centre for practical help and support, where a representative can help with submitting “Carer Assessment Forms” should this also be required.

With Flu season approaching, we are pleased to announce we will be giving flu vaccinations in the surgery and will be holding Saturday clinics as we have in previous years. We will be starting to invite patients towards the end of this month once we have received our vaccine delivery.
