Yule ❄️🌲
Winter Solstice 21st December
Yule is one of the eight sabbats and marks the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year and the rebirth of the Sun. It is a sacred turning of the Wheel, when darkness reaches its peak and light is slowly welcomed back. Yule invites us to rest, reflect, and honor hope, renewal, and the quiet magic that grows beneath the surface.
Ways you can celebrate Yule include:
🕯️Light candles or a Yule log to symbolise the return of the Sun and the promise of brighter days ahead. Sit with the flame and set intentions for the coming year.
🌲 Decorate with pine, fir, holly, or ivy to represent resilience, protection, and life that endures through winter.
✨ Journal on what you’ve learned this year and what you wish to nurture as the light returns. This is a powerful time for manifestation magic.
🔮 Pull tarot or oracle cards, meditate, or pay attention to your dreams as wisdom speaks softly during the dark.
🍞 Eat warm breads, drink spiced drinks, dried fruits, nuts, and eat hearty meals. Share nourishment, gratitude, and comfort with those you love.
🌙 Slow down, cleanse your space, and allow deep rest. Winter magic grows in stillness.
Yule is the celebration of hope, rebirth, and the returning light, a reminder that even in the darkest night, the Sun always rises again.
What intentions are you planting as the light is reborn? 🕯️❄️
