Non Attendance of Appointments
During the month of May we had 102 patients not attending for GP and nurses appointments.
As our first routine GP appointment is at present over 4 weeks away, please consider informing the surgery if you are unable to attend an appointment.
Patients should be receiving text messages the day before to remind them of their appointment times. If you are not, and would like this to happen, please contact the surgery. Text messaging also gives you the option to cancel via text should you be unable to attend. You can also cancel via our website or by telephone.
Please ensure that we have your latest telephone number.
We cannot stress how important this is. This is something that is impacting all the other patients who are looking for appointments. If we have patients consistently missing their appointments, then we will have to take further action, including removal from our list.
The growing population in our area means the availability that we offer is precious and we would urge patients to attend if possible.
If you cannot attend please let us know, no matter how close it is to your appointment time, so we can offer your appointment to someone else.
