On Saturday, the Phoenix Drilling team got together for our annual Christmas night out — and what a night it was!

We kicked things off with a festive Christmas lunch at Browns, followed by some competitive fun at Roxy Lanes for ten-pin bowling, and wrapped up the night with plenty more drinks and laughs in some bars on Rose Street. It was a brilliant opportunity for everyone to unwind, have a laugh and celebrate another busy year of hard work and teamwork.

Phoenix Drilling has just welcomed another Hagglund BV206 to the fleet — bringing our total to eight!

This expansion strengthens our ability to reach remote, challenging and environmentally sensitive terrain with even greater efficiency, safety and reliability. The BV206 continues to be a game-changer for our operations, and we’re excited to put this newest unit through our workshop and then out into the field.

Onwards and upwards!

Our team is out in the field this week with one of our Fraste Multidrill ML rigs, completing a range of boreholes with in-situ testing, sampling, and groundwater monitoring installations.

Another busy weekend for our maintenance team at the Phoenix Drilling workshop! 🔧

A number of Dando CP rigs, along with a few Toyota Hilux support vehicles, stopped in for their routine maintenance as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our fleet in top condition.

A big thank-you to our skilled team for their dedication and efficiency in ensuring everything is ready for the next project ahead. 👏

Our team is on site in Ayrshire this week carrying out a geotechnical investigation at Barbieston Bridge.

Crew 1 – John & Barry are leading the works, completing ground investigations to support upcoming infrastructure and maintenance planning.
