October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🌸

This month, our team came together to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, wearing pink and sharing pink ribbons across our sites as a symbol of unity, hope, and support for everyone affected by breast cancer.

Early detection, continued research, and open conversations save lives. Behind every ribbon is a story of strength, courage, and resilience and we’re honoured to play a small part in spreading awareness and showing our solidarity.

Before & After! 🚨

We recently carried out a full carpet clean in a large office and communal kitchen area for one of our valued clients. The space had been left unused for some time, and the carpets had definitely seen better days, with heavy staining and built-up dirt throughout.

Our team used the Texatherm Cleaning System, a low-moisture, heat-reactive process that not only lifts deep-set dirt and stains but also sanitizes the carpet as it cleans. It’s fast-drying, highly effective, and ideal for commercial spaces that need to get back to business quickly.

Last week, some of our team, including Account Manager June Godfrey and Industrial Manager Robert Parker had the pleasure of visiting our highly valued client Ingenico in Dalgety Bay, Scotland to celebrate and thank Liz, who has been an important part of the Capital Service Solutions Group Ltd family for over 11 years. 💛

At 75 years young, Liz is preparing to leave us, and while we will all miss her dearly, it was important to take the time to recognise just how much she has given during her time with us. Liz has been a shining example of dedication, reliability, and positivity. Her hard work and commitment have not only supported our clients but have also inspired her colleagues across the business. The friendships she’s built and the pride she’s taken in her work have truly left a lasting legacy at Capital. ⭐

We would also like to recognise our wonderful team at Ingenico, who have supported Liz in all that she does. It is an excellent team, led by our brilliant supervisor, Christine Bett, and their support has played a huge part in Liz’s success. 👏

Moments like these remind us that our people are the heart of what we do. Liz’s journey with us reflects the values we strive to uphold every day, teamwork, commitment, and going the extra mile. 💎

New Contract Launch – Iconic 5-Star Hotel🤝

We’re delighted to share that Capital Service Solutions Group Ltd has successfully launched a night-time cleaning contract at one of Scotland’s most iconic and historic 5-star hotels, located in the heart of Edinburgh city centre. 🏰

Renowned for its world-class service, Michelin-starred dining, and literary legacy, the hotel welcomes guests from across the globe and we’re proud to now play a part in delivering the standards its reputation is built on. 🌍

Initial work on this exciting opportunity began in March 2024, with our teams engaging in early-stage planning and site assessments. From evaluating operational requirements to building strong client relationships, these early efforts laid the groundwork for a seamless transition and successful service mobilisation. 🦺

Following a two-month mobilisation phase, services officially began in August, covering all key front-of-house and common areas, including:

- Reception & lobby

- Spa and wellness suites

- Signature bars and lounges

- Corridors and guest-facing public spaces

We’re pleased to report that initial feedback has been extremely positive, reflecting the commitment and effort from everyone involved.

New Fleet, New Chapter! 🚘

We’re excited to announce the beginning of a fantastic new partnership between Capital Service Solutions Group Ltd and Arnold Clark, who are now supplying vehicles for our operational fleet. 🤝

As part of this collaboration, we’ve just taken delivery of three brand-new Nissan Jukes and two brand-new BMW 218i models. These vehicles have been allocated specifically for our Account Managers and Operations Manager, ensuring they have the comfort, reliability, and efficiency they need to stay mobile and responsive in their roles. This marks a significant step forward in supporting our growing teams with safe, modern transport that enables us to continue delivering exceptional service across the board.

A huge thank you to Derek Glass, Area Manager at Arnold Clark, for his outstanding support. His attention to detail and commitment made the handover process smooth from start to finish. This partnership represents more than just vehicles, it’s about trusted relationships, operational excellence, and driving our business forward (literally and figuratively!). 🚗

This partnership is off to a strong start, and we’re looking forward to developing it further as we grow. Keep an eye out for our new fleet on the road, if you see us out and about, give us a wave! 👋
