The yoga at The Feral Temple isn’t about perfect poses.
I trained in India and it was there that I truly began to understand that yoga was never meant to be about performance. It’s a philosophy. A remembering. A way of returning to ourselves.
So the practice I guide is less about achieving something… and more about mastering the art of letting go.
Letting go of striving.
Letting go of comparison.
Letting go of the idea that we have to do it “right”.
It’s welcomed in classes that we practice with our eyes closed. As women we are so used to comparing ourselves… in life and even on the mat. When the eyes close, the attention turns inward.
Our energy stops scattering outward and begins to settle back into the body.
The practice becomes quieter, more honest and more felt.
We explore breathwork, mantra, visualisation, gentle movement and stillness and creating a space for the nervous system to soften and the mind to slow down.
Some people come for the stretch.
Some come for the calm.
Some come because it’s the only hour in their week where they truly allow themselves to rest.
However you arrive, you’re welcome exactly as you are. 🤍
Yoga classes running in Llanarth currently on a Monday at 7pm-8pm.
