Yoga at Healing Pastures

This is a reminder that you can book a yoga lesson with me while you're here. I studied Hatha yoga and a variety of meditation and breath work practices in India as well as yoga and ayurveda for balancing hormones.

If you are a woman and would like help with navigating hormonal issues at any stage of life - from fertility to menopause and beyond - you can book a session with a focus on this. (This can be more than just yoga - a road map to help you find hormonal health and happiness).

I took this a couple of weeks ago when I was back in UK. I stayed in Badger Lodge for the first few nights and in the morning, this was the view from the veranda.

One of Wales' best kept walking secrets Aran Fawddwy. Jeremy and Charlie climbed this on the weekend and saw only a handful on people all day.

Less than half an hour from Hafodwen. It's one of the peaks we look at from the higher ground on the farm and is a bit higher than Cader Idris. There are shorter walks in the same area for people wanting a more gentle climb.

I wish that this was the message from the Welsh government to the rest of the UK:

"We're looking forward to welcoming you back to Wales. And we are grateful that you are being considerate enough not to drive long distances to visit us during the peak of the crisis"

I've been pretty quiet on social media about the current situation. And I'm finding it difficult to find the right words to explain how some of the messages which have been put out into the world about visiting Wales have made me feel.

During hard times, sending unwelcoming and harsh messages about staying away may seem OK to some. After all it's the sensible thing to do and it's important to save lives. But some of the messages I've heard, both from the government and here on social media, have made me feel uncomfortable.

I love welcoming guests to the area. I love seeing and meeting other visitors in the area who are enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Hopefully you will come back and enjoy this special place as soon as possible. I know that you are bound to remember the messages you get from us in difficult times. This message is to let you know that we are looking forward to welcoming you back.

We can't recommend this enough. If you're into walking and the natural environment definitely check this out. Especially worth a look if you have toddlers and a push chair or you use a wheelchair. xx

Hafren Forest. Walk to the source of the River Severn or choose from several waterfall walks of different lengths.
