📢 The EMMETT Technique has been featured in a pilot study, 'Effectiveness of the EMMETT Technique on balance and range of motion in young football players' and was published in the 7th International Scientific Conference Proceedings.

Presented at the International Congress in Split, Croatia, this study highlights how the Technique improves balance and mobility in young athletes, supporting peak performance and recovery.

A thought for the New Year ……
Life has its’ twists and turns.
For me a chance online discussion with another therapist in Australia who encouraged me to attend a course run by this Australian Therapist called Ross Emmett who was visiting London the following month.
I knew nothing about the EMMETT Technique and this was the first ever training available in the UK. Something in my head said “what have I got to loose?” And went ….

18 years on and I am still very involved with this amazing muscle and soft tissue therapy - treating and teaching others to offer this great work.
I have always been willing to tread a different path to others - definitely not a straight line - but drawn hither and thither.

Planning for 2026?

I am looking forward to welcoming new students to learn the amazing EMMETT Technique - this wonderful gentle muscle and soft tissue release can be added to your existing treatments or as a stand alone therapy.

I use it both ways - combined often with scar therapy and more recently with Energetic Structural Balance techniques.

Why not join me on a workshop or on the new practitioner courses confirmed for 2026.

I also teach practitioners the first two advanced courses and I teach practitioners how to become workshop tutors too.

A busy and exciting year ahead for me and hopefully for you too.

Have you thought about doing some training? Why not join me in South Wales to learn the amazing EMMETT Technique? Two venues and dates already confirmed - watch out for another date and venue as discussions continue.
Also open to discussions for groups of people who would like to host a training workshop or course. You would need to have a suitable venue and enough people to run a viable training.

Hoping that 2026 will be a great one for us all.

Thank you all for supporting me over the past year. Hopefully I will be able to help more of you this coming year and, in teaching others, will allow the beautiful therapy that is the EMMETT Technique, to help even more people.
