Staff Training Closure – Thursday 19th March
The surgery will be closed on Thursday 19th March from 1:00pm to 5:00pm for mandatory staff training.
During this time, if you need to speak to a doctor urgently, please contact 0300 0844 000.
The surgery will reopen as normal after 5:00pm.

RSV Vaccination Programme Update – Adults Aged 80 and Over

From 1 April 2026, the RSV vaccination programme is being expanded to include all adults aged 80 and over, with no upper age limit.
We will be offering vaccinations to this group between 1 April and 30 June 2026.
•If you are aged 80 or over, please contact the practice to book your appointment.
• We will also be reaching out directly to eligible patients.
• In some cases, you may be able to receive your RSV vaccine at the same time as your spring COVID‑19 vaccination, which will be delivered by the local immunisation team.

309 patients didn’t attend their appointment last month — that’s 6.357% of all bookings.
When appointments aren’t cancelled, those slots can’t be offered to someone else who may really need them. If you know you can’t make it, please cancel in advance so we can support as many patients as possible. Thank you for helping us reduce wasted appointments and improve access for everyone.

Have you nominated a pharmacy for your electronic prescriptions? If not, please get in touch to let us know your preferred chemist. Since moving to this system, we’ve noticed a big drop in patients having to chase up where their prescription is. It’s a smoother process for everyone, helping staff work more efficiently and ensuring patients get their medication without unnecessary waiting.
