Cynhadledd Gweithwyr Cymorth Gofal Iechyd Lefel 4

Y mis diwethaf, mynychodd Angela a Nikki Venue Cymru, Llandudno i nodi llwyddiant ein gweithwyr cymorth gofal iechyd ledled Gogledd Cymru. Cwblhaodd dros 50 o weithwyr cymorth gofal iechyd Dystysgrif Ymarfer Gofal Iechyd Addysg Uwch Lefel 4 yn llwyddiannus, a oedd yn cynnwys staff o feddygfeydd teulu bwrdd iechyd ac annibynnol. Un cyfle o'r rhaglen hon yw'r gallu i gael mynediad at ail flwyddyn y radd Baglor mewn Nyrsio.

Level 4 Healthcare Support Worker conference

Last month Angela and Nikki attended Venue Cymru, Llandudno to mark the success of our healthcare support workers across North Wales. Over 50 healthcare support workers successfully completed the Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education Healthcare Practice, which included staff from both health board and independent GP practices. One opportunity from this programme is the ability to access the second year of the Bachelor of Nursing degree.

The Primary and Community Care Academy in collaboration with Primary Care presents Lunch and Learn - All Wales AC Syringe Driver Administration Chart Update.

This 30-minute session will consist of A 20-minute presentation from Jenny Sparks, Macmillan Palliative Care Pharmacist. Jenny will give an update on the All-Wales SC Syringe Driver administration chart which is launching at the end of October/early November.

Please be advised that this session is for clinical staff.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask Jenny questions in a short Q&A at the end of the session.

Rhaglen Datblygu Rheolwyr Ymarfer Aprovedig

📣Rydym am gynnig ein llongyfarchiadau i'r 5 gweinyddwr uwch llwyddiannus sydd wedi cofrestru ar Raglen Datblygu Rheolwyr Ymarfer Aprovedig newydd yr Academi eleni sydd bellach ar gam hanner ffordd ac yn gwneud cynnydd da.

Mae'r rhaglen newydd gyffrous hon wedi'i chreu i wella llwybrau gyrfa i unigolion sydd am symud i'r lefel nesaf o fewn rôl rheoli ymarfer.

Aspiring Practice Manager Development Programme

📣We wish to offer our congratulations to the 5 successful senior administrators enrolled on this years Academy’s new Aspiring Practice Managers Development Programme who are now at the half way stage and progressing well.

This exciting new programme has been created to improve career pathways for individuals wishing to progress to that next level within a practice management role. It offers an all-round awareness of the role of a practice manager and aims to support practices with succession planning. The next cohort will commence July 2026 with applications opening April/May.

The Education and Training Department of the North Wales Community Dental Service has achieved a 100% pass rate in the recent National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) Special Care Dental Nursing course.

This remarkable success reflects the dedication, resilience, and professionalism of our dental nurses, who undertook the course with enthusiasm and commitment to advancing their skills in caring for patients with additional needs

We extend our congratulations to Karen, Elizabeth, Eleri, Laura, and Chelsey for their achievement, and to our educators for their expert guidance and support throughout the programme.

This success highlights our commitment to excellence in dental education and our ongoing focus on supporting dental nurses in gaining specialist qualifications that enhance patient care and professional growth.

Mae Adran Addysg a Hyfforddiant Gwasanaeth Deintyddol Cymunedol Gogledd Cymru wedi cyflawni cyfradd pasio o 100% yn y cwrs Nyrsio Ddeintyddol Gofal Arbennig o Gydweithrediad Bwrdd Arholi Cenedlaethol ar gyfer Nyrsys Deintyddol (NEBDN) yn ddiweddar.
