Massage can also help people suffering from stress and anxiety, tension headaches and insomnia to list a few ✅
A sign of a good massage is being sore the next day ❌
Although it can be normal to feel tenderness the following day (especially after a deep tissue), the aim of a massage is not to inflict pain on yourself but to relieve it. Being in pain is not an indication of a productive massage ✅
Massage flushes toxins out of the body ❌
A common misconception, but not scientifically proven. However, one long term effect of massage is improved circulation which helps your bodies natural ability to dispose of waste products ✅
