PSA for patients:

We would like to make patients aware that we have sent out texts this afternoon to a selected group of patients.

This text contains a questionnaire via a Microsoft Office ‘Forms’ link for patients who have recently been seen at the surgery and we are collecting information regarding their experience in the surgery.

Many thanks,

⚠️ Scam alert

We’ve been informed of a company that is contacting people and claiming to be linked to Delta Wellbeing. They are saying the lifeline equipment needs upgrading and are asking for payment.

This is not us.

We would never ask for personal details or bank information over the phone.
Please be vigilant. If you suspect that you have been a victim of a scam, please report it to your local trading standards team, who can provide you with the necessary support.

If you live in Carmarthenshire, Carmarthenshire County Council provides free TrueCall nuisance call blockers to help protect residents from telephone scams 👉🏻 https://tinyurl.com/mukswy5m

NEW CLINICAL IT SYSTEM 🗓️

We would like to inform our patients that we will be transitioning to a new clinical IT system between Thursday 13th March until Monday 24th March 2025. During this period, we anticipate some temporary disruption to our usual services as we upgrade the system. Please be assured that we have taken significant steps to minimise any impact, but there will be a reduction in our ability to process certain tasks efficiently due to a limited number of computers available.

What does this mean for you?
• Reduced availability of computers: The upgrade process will require a temporary reduction in available computers, which could lead to slower processing times or delays in certain services.
• Prioritisation of tasks: We will be prioritising critical cases and essential functions only during this time. Non-urgent matters will experience delays.
• Communication channels: While the IT system is being upgraded, please expect longer response times to any non-urgent queries or requests.

How we’re preparing:
• We have trained our team to ensure that vital services continue without interruption.
• Temporary manual processes will be in place to handle urgent matters where necessary.
• We will do our best to keep you informed of any major developments or changes in the schedule.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

We are excited about the improvements the new system will bring and are committed to ensuring a smooth transition with as little disruption as possible.
