Sadly passed away on Sunday 30th November 2025, aged 93 years.

Beloved husband of Bernice, devoted father of Christine and Carolyn, a much loved father-in-law of Peter and David, and a cherished dadda of Richard, Laura and Leah.

Danny and Bernice celebrated their Platinum Wedding Anniversary (70th) in 2025.

He was dearly loved and adored by his family and will be sadly missed.

Funeral service to take place at Silcox Tŷ Gwyn Chapel on Wednesday 17th December at 1:45pm, followed by interment at Llanelli District Cemetery at 2:30pm.

Rehaan’s funeral service will take place on Friday 28th November 2025

Arrival at Swansea Mosque and Islamic Community Centre
Swansea Mosque, 159A St Helen’s Rd, Swansea (George St Entrance) SA1 4DG for 10:30 a.m.
Janazah Prayer: 11:15 a.m.
To leave at 11:45 a.m. for interment at Llanelli District Cemetery, Swansea Rd, Llanelli, SA15 3EX at 12:30 p.m.

Further details regarding the service, interment and refreshments are as follows;

At the Mosque:
Before the prayers begin, mourners usually take turns spending a quiet moment with Rehaan.
The congregation will then line up in rows behind Rehaan’s coffin to perform the funeral prayer.
Guests are welcome to join the prayer or take a seat behind the praying congregation, whichever feels most comfortable.
After the prayer, the congregation will form two lines and carry the coffin out shoulder to shoulder. Guests may follow behind, keeping a little space to allow movement.

At the Graveside:
The coffin will be lowered into the grave, usually by family members.
Some of Rehaan’s colleagues will be invited to make speeches.
The Imam will then offer final prayers, and the grave will be filled by family and friends. This is a ceremonial marker that you are welcome but not obligated to participate in.

All are welcome to then join the family in returning to Swansea Mosque where food will be served and a pray will be said in Rehaan’s name.
