CHOCOLATES FOR STAFF AT TY BRYNGWYN HOSPICE.

On 2 February 2026 the nursing staff at Ty Bryngwyn Hospice gratefully received a gift of chocolates from Committee Members Mrs Vicky Garfoot and Mrs Liz Riby Evans.

This gift was donated by Mr Adrian Griffiths, Director, Llangennech RFC and Mrs Garfoot's son-in-law.

Mr Griffiths wished to thank the nursing staff for all their hard work and for the vital support they give to their patients and families at what can be a difficult and distressing time in their lives.

Mrs Jan Lovegrove and Mrs Barbara Griffiths presented a cheque for £600 to Cllr Andrew Stephens (Vice Chairman and Trustee) and Mrs Susan Thomas (Trustee and Hon Secretary) of Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Trust and Fundraisers

This amazing gift had been raised from a Christmas Charity game and our sincere gratitude goes to the organisers and to all who contributed so generously.

Thank you Llangennech RFC Under 13s - 25/26 for supporting Ty Bryngwyn Hospice once again. See post below for more information.

This Sunday, we're hitting the Millenium Coastal Path in Llanelli for our annual fancy dress fun run! The theme is ‘At the Farm’, and we can't wait to see what hilarious and creative costumes the boys have in store 🐷🐐🐴.

The fun kicks off at 10am from The Slab. Our boys, coaches, and some brave parents will be running their way to hot drinks and refreshments at St Elli’s Bay function room. A massive thank you to St. Elli's Bay for their continued support and for donating the room and hot drinks. The staff are absolute superstars and have been amazing in helping us plan the event.

If you're in the area, come along and cheer on our boys from the sidelines. We promise lots of laughs as they tractor their way to the finish line! Everyone is welcome to pop into the function room to buy a hot drink and help raise money for our team and Ty Bryngwyn Hospice in Llanelli. Last year, we raised an incredible £600 for Ty Bryngwyn Llanelli Hospice during our Xmas fun run in 2023, and we're thrilled to support them again this year, especially after the fantastic care they provided for our late coach Sherwyn.

A huge thanks to all the parents for their amazing support and, of course, to our incredible team of coaches. We couldn't do any of this without you!

CORRAN SINGERS CHRISTMAS CONCERT 18 DECEMBER 2025
CONGREGATIONAL CHAPEL LAUGHARNE

On 18 December 2025 at the Congregational Chapel Laugharne the Corran Singers held their Christmas Concert. During the proceedings Mr James Ryan presented a cheque for £1,000 to Chairman and Trustee Mr David Craddock.

A vote of thanks was extended to the Choir for selecting Ty Bryngwyn Hospice as the beneficiary of this very generous gift. Mr Craddock then gave an overview of the work at the Hospice and future projects and expressed his gratitude for this donation which means so much to our Appeal.

Our very best wishes and thanks go to Ms Heather Jenkins and her choir for a very Happy, Healthy and Successful New Year.

PRESENTATION GREENFIELD CHAPEL, LLANELLI

During the Service on Tuesday, 16 December 2025 a cheque for £1,250 was presented to Mr David Craddock, Chair and Trustee of Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Fundraisers, by Mrs Annette Gravelle (Treasurer). Mr Craddock thanked the Rev David Jones and all at Greenfield for this magnificent donation towards our Appeal which had been raised by the offerings and made up by the Chapel.

The congregation were then told about future projects namely the redesigning of the Hospice Garden which is planned to commence in 2026 and the increase of bed usage from 4 to 7 which would meet the need of patients and their families at what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives.

We are so grateful for the continuing support given by Greenfield Chapel which makes such a positive difference to our work. Diolch yn fawr.
