Cancellation Policy
At Cowell St Skin & Hair Clinic, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, we also need to ensure that our staff and other clients are not negatively impacted by last-minute cancellations or no-shows. Therefore, we have a clear cancellation policy to ensure that we can provide the best possible service to all our clients.
Cancellation or Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 48 hours' notice. You can do this by calling or messaging us on 07437164988 or emailing us info@cowellstskinandhairclinic.co.uk We will confirm the cancellation or rescheduled appointment with you as soon as possible.
If you cancel or reschedule your appointment between 24-48 hours before the scheduled time, a 50% deposit will be charged.
If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged the full cost of the treatment.
No-Show Policy
If you fail to show up for your appointment without notifying us, you will be charged the full cost of the treatment. This is to ensure that we can cover the costs of our staff's time and any materials used for the treatment.
Late Arrival Policy
We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can cause delays, and we will do our best to accommodate you if you are running late. However, if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the full treatment. In this case, you will still be charged the full cost of the treatment.
Change of Mind Policy
If you wish to change your appointment, please give us at least 48 hours' notice.
We understand that circumstances can change, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, if you change your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, you will be charged the full cost of the original booking.
Course of Treatments Policy If you have booked a course of treatments with us and have already paid for it, you do not need to pay a further deposit. However, if you fail to give us 48 hours' notice of a cancellation, you will lose 50% of the value of one of your treatments.
Policy on Taking a Deposit for Treatments
Purpose: To ensure that clients who book appointments for treatments are committed to attending their scheduled appointments, and to protect the business from financial losses resulting from no-shows or cancellations.
Policy:
A deposit is required for all treatments that cost £30 or more, including but not limited to laser services, cosmetic procedures, and medical treatments. We offer consultations at no charge to our clients, which are valued at £30. However, to secure the appointment, we require a deposit of £15, which can be applied towards treatment or refunded if you elect not to proceed with any services.
The deposit amount will be a minimum of 25% of the total treatment cost and may be higher depending on the type of treatment, the duration of the appointment.
The deposit must be paid at the time of booking the appointment, either online or in person.
The deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels their appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled time or fails to show up for their appointment.
If the client cancels their appointment more than 24 hours in advance, the deposit may be refunded or credited towards a future appointment, at the discretion of the business.
If the business cancels the appointment for any reason, including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances, equipment failure, or staff absence, the deposit will be refunded or credited towards a future appointment.
Clients who repeatedly fail to show up for appointments or cancel at short notice may be required to pay a higher deposit or be refused future appointments at the discretion of the business.
