It is such a privilege to be a part of the history of Victoria House. It has taken time to build a business and home within its walls, all made easier by the warm local welcome and wide reaching support for my little day retreat since day one; dw i’n mor hapus a diolchgar, feeling very grateful.

This year it was possible to start looking for someone to restore the rotting and cracked shop windows to their former glory; after a long wait Mark Hubbard All Aspects Property Maintenence & Construction arrived to complete the work. He has done a fantastic job, it was a very smooth process in the end and a great way to end 2025

Your recipient can then choose the treatment that best suits them.

Gift vouchers can be paid for by bank transfer and collected from the day retreat at a time that suits you. Alternatively they can be posted direct to your recipient with a personalised message.

So many of you have enjoyed the spring view ‘through the window’ since I opened the day retreat in March 2022 ~ the changing of the seasons is such a reassuring element of my life that I decided to get a new window view for every season over time.

Life is bursting with happy busyness. I haven’t posted my ✨Glimmers in my stories for December since Thursday but I name them as a full asleep each night.

✨🥰Being fully booked at the day retreat is amazing, I am so grateful.

✨🎄Helping to organise the Community Christmas Tree Festival at St. Marys has given me the opportunity to spend time with members of our wonderful community and enjoy the church in its busy and peaceful moments, a gift.

✨💝 Some people walk into your life and feel you with a deeper sense of hope, a blessing.

✨👣 My own monthly reflexology session is booked in for the end of next week… knowing I have that pause reminds me to take deeper breaths… mini pauses… it helps me stay grounded; because busyness however happy can make me feel a sense of anxiety when I don’t take care of myself.

A beautiful new blend available at Encil Melangell day retreat, which you can now take home to use as part of your evening routine (30ml Glass Bottle £20)

Blended using Organic Cold Pressed Jojoba Oil; naturally rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids it moisturises, softens and conditions skin.

Perfect for skin balancing as it is very close in composition to your skin's normal sebum.

Rejuvenating Rosehip Oil; used since ancient times for its valuable healing benefits, rosehip oil is full of skin nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids.

Bergamot has an uplifting, fresh, invigorating aroma to help ease the mind and body under stress. Believed by some to help to defuse feelings of anger and frustration through encouraging a spirit of compromise.

Lavender and chamomile essential oils are renowned for their calming properties, which can help alleviate stress and anxiety, positively impacting our ability to react to stressors.

This blend is suitable for most of my clients however as a qualified Aromatherapist I can only blend an oil for you if you have completed a consultation form with me to rule out any reasons why it may not be suitable for you at this time.

Contentment Facial Oil can be gently massaged into the face, after cleansing, using your hands or a Gua Sha tool.

Dw i’n caru Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 An amazing 24hrs away for our anniversary ~ one of our favourite places to practise the pause. Gorgeous treatments with Jess although it did remind me of how comfortable the couch is an investment that was worth every penny 🥰.
