After nearly 16 years of owning Becws Mefus in Llangefni I will be finally closing the doors this Friday coming 24th June. I have secured a buyer that is going inject a new lease of life into the building and I am very excited for them as I know they will be highly successful with the continued support of the amazing Llangefni people, recent years have proved a struggle in a lot of aspects the final blow is the cost of energy , the nature of small business we are unfortunately cannot take this this over 100% hike in energy costs. but there we are , I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the people that have been a part of the business , my suppliers T Snax and Anglesey chilled foods my staff and the local support of Llangefni especially Pencraig 🤩🤩 Diolch yn fawr Ben

Job Opportunity , a position has come up for a bakery shop assistant in Becws Bont in Llangefni , we are looking for a confident outgoing individual to join the team , the hours are 9.30 till 2pm Monday to Friday (these may vary to cover sick leave and holidays, so an element of flexibility will be required, previous experience would be an advantage but full training will be given , the role includes serving our loyal customers on a daily bases , assisting with the busy lunch time rush and assisting with close down procedures , min wage applies but with potential bonus scheme for performing sales, please message me to arrange to bring cv in person.diolch Ben

Bakers assistant needed for immediate start in Becws mefus Llangefni due to increased orders , role includes assisting the baker with the making of breads , rolls and cakes ,this is a physically demanding role , you will be asked to remove bread tins in and out of ovens remove dough from mixing bowls , hours are 9pm till 2am 5 days a week , Sunday night Thursday night pay is at min wage for age , pm me

Here we go again , our sellout real McCoy pulled pork baps are available from tomorrow in both Mefus and Bont , the pork shoulder supplied by Thomas butchers in town has been seasoned and ready for its 8 hours slow cooking , available from 8am . comes with stuffing, crackling cooked to perfection and a choice of either apple or cranberry sauce nice.

BONT opening on Monday , we are so happy to announce that bont will be back open on Monday, The only difference is a slightly later opening time of 8.30 am , we have an amazing new team that will look after you , we are so excited . We have just appointed new managers , supervisors , and bakers and we are ready for this new stage in Bonts service to the amazing Llangefni people and beyond . We needed a bit of time out to re evaluate our forward plan. We are not going to let this pandemic get the best off us , we are going to be all guns blazing when we open and thank you for your support thank you so much for your years of support i promise to put inches on your waistline 😂
