What makes STōKED SAWNA so special? 🔥

It’s the setting. Tucked beside the River Dee, with real river access for that perfect hot–cold reset.

It’s the moments. Wildlife all around, the sound of the water, and the kind of calm you don’t find just anywhere… including the friendly llamas grazing in the field opposite 👀🦙

It’s the view. Castell Dinas Brân rising in the distance, adding a little extra magic to every session.

It’s the surprises. A steam train gliding past across the river, always makes you smile.

As the light fades over the Dee Valley, the sauna begins to glow.
Set on the banks of the River Dee in Llangollen, STōKED is a place to slow things down, with friends, or people you’ve just met.

Our four‑day Easter opening was a huge success, and we loved welcoming so many of you for a proper reset over the long weekend. Thank you to everyone who booked, returned, and brought friends along 💛

A few updates as we head into spring:
🧢 Sauna hats now available (totally optional, but great for staying comfy in the heat)
📅 We’re open on both May Bank Holiday Mondays, perfect excuse for an extra-long unwind- Book online ☺️

🚨 Important Update 🚨

We’re absolutely gutted to share that, following a rather dramatic landslide overnight, our beloved riverside sauna has… well… relocated itself into the River Dee. 😳🌊

Yes, you read that correctly. It is currently enjoying a slightly more immersive experience than originally intended.

The riverbank gave way earlier today, and our lovely sauna slid gracefully (or not so gracefully) into the water below. Thankfully no one was inside at the time, and everyone is safe, although the sauna itself is taking things a bit too literally when we say “cold plunge.”

We’re currently assessing the situation and figuring out how on earth we’re going to fish it back out again.

We’ll keep you posted with updates… but for now, bookings are slightly affected. 😅

Don’t worry, the sauna is exactly where it should be, firmly on dry land and ready for you to enjoy. No rogue river adventures (yet).
