🎄✨ Moments of the Month – December 2025 at Robert Allan House ✨🎄

December has been full of festive cheer, fun, and wonderful memories here at Robert Allan House!

We’ve enjoyed a fantastic month of seasonal activities, including trips to the local panto Aladdin, ice skating adventures, and creative outings to the ceramic café where residents made beautiful Christmas presents for their loved ones. 🎭⛸️🎁

Our much-loved Robert Allan Choir was a huge hit once again, filled with laughter and the sound of everyone singing along to their favourite Christmas songs. 🎶☕

Wellbeing has also been a big focus in-house, with energetic Zumba and Burns Fitness sessions, festive Christmas Olympics, and plenty of arts and crafts to decorate our home for the season. 🎨🎄

We were delighted to host a Resident Spotlight for Lee Munro, who kindly helped decorate another resident’s bedroom, showcasing his fantastic skills and thoughtfulness. 🌟

As we move into the new year, we’re excited for what lies ahead and look forward to another great year filled with fun, friendship, and lots of laughter. 🥳💙

What a fantastic day out at Hollywood Bowl with great friends. 🎳
Huge congratulations to Brenda, our champion of the day 🏆👏
We enjoyed a lovely lunch together, followed by a proper sing-song on the bus on the way home 🎶🚌
Lots of laughs, great company, and wonderful memories made a great day was had by all! ❤️

This Christmas Eve, Colin & I are spreading some festive cheer with our 74th song, the classic
“I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday” by Wizzard 🎄✨

Also a huge thank you to everyone who’s bought our Greatest Hits CD 💿❤️
We’ll be making more in the new year and will let you know when they’re available.

We had so much fun bringing a Brady Bunch style twist to our Christmas photoshoot here at Robert Allan Care Home! 📸

Armed with our best smiles, festive cheer, and plenty of personality made this shoot one to remember 🫶

Thank you to everyone who helped spread the Christmas spirit and made the day so special ❤️

🎶✨ He’s Behind You! Panto Magic All Around ✨🎭🧞‍♂️

Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying the pantomime Aladdin at the Adam Smith Theatre 🎟️🎶. With multiple showings, everyone had the chance to join in the fun, laughter and music 😄👏 — and there were plenty of smiles all round 💛

From colourful costumes 🎨👗 to familiar songs 🎤🎵 and lots of audience participation 🙌, it was a joyful experience that created some truly special memories ✨

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff 👏💐 and to the Adam Smith Theatre team 🎭 for helping make this magical outing possible 🌟

🎄✨ Festive Cheer at Robert Allan ✨🎄

This morning at Robert Allan House, we were delighted to welcome the Primary 5 class from St Kenneth’s Primary School who filled our space with beautiful Christmas songs and plenty of festive cheer.

A massive thank you for joining us and sharing your wonderful talent, you truly brightened our morning! 🌟🎶

🎄✨ Christmas Olympics✨🎄

Today the festive spirit was in full swing as our Christmas Olympics kicked off with an epic showdown with Team Nadina vs Team Ashley! The care home was filled with laughter, cheering, and plenty of friendly competition from start to finish 🎅🎄

Residents and staff got stuck into a series of hilarious Christmas games, including:
🦌 Pin the Nose on Rudolph the Reindeer (with some very creative nose placements)
🍬 Hook the Marshmallows with Candy Canes (trickier than it looked and full of giggles)
🎁 Poke the Present (excitement building with every poke trying not to pop the balloon inside)
🎈 Pass the Balloon (fast hands, big smiles, and lots of teamwork)

Both teams brought their A-game, cheering each other on and spreading festive joy all around. It wasn’t about winning it was about having fun, sharing laughs, and making magical Christmas memories together. ❤️✨

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day so special. What a wonderful way to celebrate the season at Robert Allan Care Home! 🎄🎉

🎄✨ Rocking Around The House ✨🎄

What a truly lovely Christmas celebration we had at Robert Allan House! The home was beautifully filled with festive cheer as residents, staff, and guests came together to enjoy a special afternoon of celebration🎉

We were delighted to have Linton join us as our live singer, whose wonderful performance had everyone smiling, singing along, and soaking up the Christmas spirit. The music really set the tone for a joyful and relaxed afternoon🎤🎶

A delicious buffet was served, offering a great selection of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy. From tasty treats to refreshing drinks, there was something for all, and it was lovely to see everyone sitting together, chatting, laughing, and making memories🍰🥂

Thank you to our amazing staff and everyone involved for making this Christmas party so special. It was a heart warming day full of festive joy, togetherness, and smiles all around❤️🎅

🎄✨ What a lovely festive morning! ✨🎄

This morning we enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Cosy Cafe Christmas Buffet at Benarty Centre, where we had a great time and truly got into the Christmas spirit.

We were delighted to be joined by our friends from Benore, and together we sang a few Christmas songs for everyone, spreading plenty of festive cheer! 🎶🎅

A great morning was had by all. A massive thank you to everyone at the Cosy Cafe for your kindness and warm hospitality. 💖🎄
