MOORE

Unexpectedly, but peacefully, after a short illness with his loving family by his side, at Glenrothes Hospital, on Thursday 12th February 2026, James ‘Peam’ Moore, aged 90 years of Glenrothes, formerly Arbroath.

Husband of the late Bella, loving dad to Pat, doting grandad to Graham, Darren, Vickie and Nicola, loving great grandad to Marley and Mylo, much loved brother of Margaret, loving uncle and dear friend to many more.

Funeral service will take place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium, on Tuesday the 3rd of March at 2:15pm, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited; family flowers only please, however, donations if so desired, can be made on leaving the crematorium in aid of Jubilee Grove sheltered housing.

Peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family, on Monday 16th February 2026, Andrew (Doss) Paton Donaldson, aged 84 years of Cardenden, formerly of Gallatown, Kirkcaldy.

Beloved husband of Janet, loving father to Angela, David, Hazel and Andrew, dearly loved and devoted grandad and great grandad Doss, much loved and respected brother, uncle, brother-in-law, father-in-law, and very good friend to many; Doss will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will take place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday 6th March at 12.45pm, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Acknowledgement of thanks from the family of the late Mavis Allan:

Jim, Cheryl, Lee, James and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours, for the kind expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers, received after the recent sad passing of Mavis.

Grateful thanks to, Angela, John, Paul, Kirsty and Darren at John Gilfillan Funeral Directors for the support and compassion given throughout, thanks to Denis for his heartfelt and uplifting tribute and to Piper, Neil Henderson for his very touching tribute. To Gillytree Florist for their stunning flowers. Kennoway Bowling Club for their outstanding catering and hospitality, you went above and beyond.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone who attended the service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium to pay their final respects to Mavis, the family were overwhelmed at the attendance and for the generous donations of £440.57 which has gone to the British Heart Foundation, it is greatly appreciated.

You will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved you, Rob.

Acknowledgment of thanks from the family of the late Karen Lindsay.

We would like to pass on our sincere thanks to all who send flowers, cards and message during what has been a very difficult time for the family. Thanks also to all those who came to pay their final respects and goodbyes to our mum.

We would also like to thank Angela, and all at John Gilfillan Funeral Directors for your services and making the day run so smoothly. Huge thanks also to Piper Greig Canning, who made this day extra special for our mum. We would also like to extend our thanks to Ann and her amazing staff at the village inn for their hospitality after the funeral.

Our mum got such an amazing turn out which is very fitting for such a kind and gentle soul. Thanks to all the donations we have raised £570 which will be donated to the advanced Heart Failure Ward at the National Golden Jubilee Hospital where my mum and ourselves were treated with great respect and dignity by all the staff.

Suddenly, but peacefully, on Monday 9th February 2026, Stephen (Stevie) Joseph Nardone, aged 78 years, of Crosshill.

Beloved and most cherished husband of Mary, a loving brother, much loved and respected uncle and brother-in-law, and a very good friend to many.

Stevie, a key figure within Benarty community developments made lasting contributions through his work with the Community Council, local foodbank, Lochore Welfare Junior Football Club, and various others. His absence will be deeply felt, but his legacy will always be remembered. RIP

Funeral Mass will take place at Ss Kenneth & Bernard’s RC Church, Ballingry on Friday 27th February at 10.00am, thereafter to Kirkcaldy Crematorium at 11.45am, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Jacqueline, Danny and family would like to give special thanks to all the family, friends and colleagues who gave support and sent kind messages of love, cards and flowers following the loss of John Connor, a fine gentleman, and for paying their final respects in person and afar.
