Practising one-handed needle loading, and needling fruit floating in water. The one-handed loading means the Oshide, the listening hand, stays connected with the patient while the points are located. Using the fruit floating in (warm) water should keep the Oshide relaxed.

Excited to be part of the inaugural Catford Wellness Weekend at the Corbett Community Library. I will be offering multi-bed Acupuncture on the Saturday with treaatments at a discounted rate. Update:

The Clinic was closed for a period this Summer as I traveled to Australia for family reasons. The trip had to be extended unexpectedly, but the Clinic is now open again.

In a surprising turn, I connected with a community of practitioners from the same lineage of Traditional Japanese Acupuncture that my teachers practice, and visited their clinics at Acupuncture Brisbane and at Acupuncture Gold Coast.

So a very challenging time also provided some great inspiration. I wasn't able to meet their founder Alan Jansson, but his warmth and dedication was apparent in the work of his longtime students, particularly Owen Formosa who was a very generous host.

Alan has been running seminars with Edward Obaidey and 漢方池田塾 https://www.facebook.com/KanpoIkeda both on the Gold Coast and in Japan for 25 years.

I am excited to get back into the Clinic and share what I have learned.
