Our Story

Appleonia Beauty Studio in London Colney St. Albans, opened in 1995 as Appleonia Health and Beauty Studios. The now relocated Beauty Studio, is a one treatment room day spa offering customers dermalogica facials, hot stone massage, aromatherapy massage, Thai massage, reflexology, Indian head massage, hopi ear candles, waxing, lash and brow treatments, eyelash extensions, manicure and pedicure and shellac polish. The menu of services includes everything you need for that day you've reserved for wellness, beauty and me-time. Joanne, the owner and lead therapist at Appleonia, is a trained nurse whose knowledge of anatomy and physiology inform the techniques she uses. Clients interested in electrolysis and skin tag or thread vein removal treatments can rest assured that Joanne is a trained professional. Anyone in the St. Albans area will find Appleonia Beauty Studio just off of the High Street, a short walk from a number of nearby bus stops. Parking is also available if you are driving in from a neighbouring area. No matter where you're coming from, a relaxing day at Appleonia Beauty Studio is definitely worth the trip.
