Sid joins us with 10 year’s experience as a holistic physiotherapist practicing with a specialism in Women’s Health as well as Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Sports Massage and Personal Training.

Sid is driven by a passion for learning and helping people achieve their health and fitness goals, balancing a hands-on approach with her enthusiasm for rehab through Strength and Conditioning and Pilates.

Strengthening exercises are a must for tracking plantar fasciitis. Focus on calf strength to offload the plantar fascia, and don’t forget global lower limb strength to improve shock absorption.

Here are ‘s top 5 strengthening exercises to support recovery, do 10-12 reps of each and repeat 3 times:

1. Heel raises off the edge of a step
2. Single leg heel raises off the edge of a step
3. Split squat heel raises
4. Single leg RDL with load
5. Split squat with load
