New to Tissue Salts? Here Are a Few Common Mistakes to Avoid
When people first discover tissue salts, enthusiasm is high, and that’s a good thing.
But a few simple missteps can make the system feel confusing when it doesn’t need to be.
Here are some common beginner mistakes to watch for 👇
1️⃣ Trying to fix everything at once
It’s tempting to chase every symptom.
But the body works by priority, not by checklist.
More minerals doesn’t always mean faster results. Try focusing on the most acute issues first and give them the time to make an impact.
Start simple.
2️⃣ Choosing by symptom lists alone
Symptom lists are helpful, but they’re only part of the picture.
Two minerals can share similar symptoms but behave very differently in the body.
That’s why patterns like what makes symptoms better or worse matter so much.
Look for themes, and if you can see visual signs and recognise other indicators, all the better!
3️⃣ Ignoring what helps or aggravates
Relief and aggravation patterns are powerful clues.
For example:
some deficiencies improve with warmth
others worsen with heat
some need movement
others need rest
Skipping this step often leads to uncertainty between two minerals.
4️⃣ Changing minerals too quickly
Tissue salts work gently and progressively. Changes are made at the cellular level each and every day, eventually influencing the state of tissues, organs and whole body systems!
Switching every day because you’re unsure makes it hard to tell what’s helping.
Consistency gives the body a chance to respond, and gives you feedback.
Observation matters. (Journaling health / symptoms is highly recommended, and will make tracking your progress so much clearer.)
5️⃣ Assuming no change means “it’s not working”
Sometimes improvement is subtle:
better sleep
calmer nerves
fewer flare-ups
quicker recovery
These small shifts often come before major changes.
No response doesn’t mean failure.. remember, the body will always prioritise internal structures first! (Keep topical applications in mind when targeting skin issues to speed the effects you are aiming for, but keep taking minerals internally for a while afterwards)
6️⃣ Forgetting that learning takes time
Tissue salts aren’t about memorising minerals.
They’re about learning to listen to patterns.
That skill builds with use, not perfection.
If you’re just starting out, remember:
simple choices give the clearest feedback
the body usually tells you what it needs
confidence comes from observation, not guessing

You don’t need to rush this system.
It works best when approached calmly and with patience 😊
