We’re really pleased to share this special video from the Sing to Thrive project, part of Wandsworth’s London Borough of Culture programme 🎶
Residents at The Pines took part in a series of reminiscence-based singing sessions led by Aga Serugo-Lugo, helping to shape the song you’ll hear. It was wonderful to see how engaged everyone was, and how much they enjoyed being part of it.
The final piece also brings together so many groups from across Wandsworth, including the Baked Bean Choir, local schools, the Royal Hospital for Neurodisability, Share Community, Providence House, and more.
The video was even shown at Battersea Power Station on 23rd March — a proud moment for all involved.
We hope it brings a smile — it certainly did for us 💛
A series of events with existing choirs and ‘come and sing’ opportunities, promoting the health and social benefits of singing.
