Maria Rigopoulou is a Nutrigenetics Osteoporosis Specialist, Functional Medicine Practitioner, Nutritional and Holistic Therapist and Coach and Yoga Teacher. She has a background in Telecoms and Technology. Many people spend years trying to “fix” symptoms without ever asking a deeper question:
What happened to the nervous system along the way?

Trauma is not only about major events.
It can be chronic stress. Emotional suppression. Feeling unsafe for years. Living in survival mode for so long that the body no longer remembers how to fully rest, regulate, and repair.

And this matters more than most people realise.
Because unresolved emotional stress does not stay “in the mind.”
It affects hormones, inflammation, immunity, pain perception, sleep, digestion, metabolism — and over time, can become deeply connected to chronic illness and pain syndromes.
