We are so thankful to our lovely Vicar, Carolyn Lucas from our local church for her monthly visits to Southborough Care Home 🙏💓 Her kindness, warmth, and gentle presence mean so much to our residents.

Carolyn takes the time to truly get to know everyone, and she offers comfort and solace to those who are cared for in their rooms offering one to one room visits.

Her visits bring calm, connection, and companionship to our home.

Our wonderful residents Ruth and Lily absolutely love their weekly chats with Adopt a Grandparent volunteers Jo and Emily. 💕 Their calls are full of warm conversations, laughter, and truly joyful moments.

Thanks to the brilliant Togetherly app, all calls are secure, and Adopt a Grandparent thoughtfully matches our residents with volunteers who share similar interests, and it shows! It’s been heartwarming to watch these connections blossom week by week. 💙

A huge thank you to Adopt a Grandparent and to the lovely volunteers who give their time so generously. You’re making such a difference. 💙

Our morning digital activities with Mobii got real rather quickly — and the surprise snowfall made it even better! ❄️

Our residents stayed warm and cosy indoors, enjoying fun digital activities in this cold weather. 💙

At Southborough had the joy of helping our lovely resident Mavis feel extra special. 💕 She adores a bit of makeup, and our wonderful team members Fidel and Sabbir made her wish come true with a pampering session, complete with eyeshadow just the way she likes it.
Mavis was absolutely glowing with joy and so pleased with the results. ✨

A little pampering truly goes a long way. 💄💖
