So after using cannabis effectively and (illegaly) for the past 15 years, being prescribed medical cannabis since feb 19 from TMCC and being in possession of 3 medical cannabis cards, I ventured to integro clinics because I wanted to try a 1:1 cannabinoid ratio (even thc/cbd) because i had heard that its very good for anxiety, after a lovely discussion with thier very lovely and highly knowledgeable nurse Sophie I was transferred for my video consultation with a GMC registered specialist. After spending some time discussing my life in some detail, the fact I was happy using cannabis products but was looking to try a lower thc stain with and even cbd ratio the report went to the MDT for review. A few days after my consultation I was issued with a letter REFUSING me access to a medicine I had chosen, researched over many years and have a good track record with on the grounds of government guidelines and that I had not previously tried 2 forms of traditional medicines from my GP. I have attached a copy of the letter for you to review and some further information on the drugs they want me to try first before being prescribed PBCM'S. Not only do they want me to try 1 of these first they want me to try 2 before I qualify! All I can say is this needs to be reviewed and changed immediately, advising people to try hard drugs before exploring softer options is more then worrying and can not be allowed to continue. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, SELECT YOU CLINIC CARFULLY AND ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION because some of the people who are caring for you are simply unqualified to do so.
