When things get busy I find that prioritisation is the best way to manage my time - and recently things have been busy so I had to take a step back from focusing on my own yoga practice and posting here on Instagram.

One of the reasons things have been busy is because I have been focusing on a new venture - a new business focusing on Website Design and Social Media Management called

I am really excited got share this with you all as I know how supportive everyone is so if you are looking for any help with your own website or social media then please do get in touch as I would love to chat with you - even if it just ends up being to get to know each other better.

I am also still teaching yoga so when you next need a good stretch or to calm your mind during a busy week then drop me a message and join a class.

Remember that you are on your journey and you don’t know everyone’s else’s story so don’t compare yourself to them.

Ohh it’s been a while since I last posted but it just reminds me that you have to prioritise.

Life has been BUSY - good busy! But busy. And you can’t do everything. So you have to prioritise what you need to focus on which, for me, meant that unfortunately I haven’t been very active on social media.

Previously when life has become busier I have still tried to do everything and usually it ends up with burnout. So I am trying to be realistic about how much I can take on…so far it’s working but I’ll keep you updated.

Just remember it’s ok not to be able to do everything and usually, when you take on too much, it means that’s something suffers and it’s usually you!

REVERSE WARRIOR

Sometimes I really do feel like a warrior in this pose and sometimes I find it a challenge and can’t hold it as long as I would like 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

But that’s ok - we can’t expect our minds and bodies to be the same all the time and only to go forwards. We have to work on things in life, including our yoga practise.

Spending all day staring this intensely at a laptop isn’t good for anyone 💻 Mentally and physically…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Even when we are sat at a desk we tend to hunch over a bit. This can build up tension over time so the best way is to prevent it with regular gentle movement and stretching. It can be as simple as going for a walk or a 10 minute stretch 🚶‍♀️🚶(check out my desk stretches for inspo!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And don’t forget that our eyes and brain need a break as well 🧐 You’re likely to be more productive if you give yourself 10 mins away from your desk and come back with fresh eyes!
