Active Life Podiatry is one of London's most up-to-date centres for minor surgical treatment of foot-related injuries and abnormalities. We provide routine care, minor foot surgery, steroid injection, biomechanics, sports enhancement, gait analysis and the supply of oral antibiotics.

As the year winds down (or speeds up into festive chaos), we just want to say thank you for being part of the Active Life Podiatry community in 2025.

It’s been a big year for us and we’ve focused on making real improvements to how we care for you:
✔️ Easier online booking with our new system
✔️ In-house 3D printed orthoses for faster, more precise custom support
✔️ Three years supporting ShoeAid – thank you for helping us tackle shoe poverty
✔️ A fond goodbye to Alexa as she headed back to Australia. Aliza and Penny are now looking after her patients
✔️ John and Aliza loved getting out to local run clubs with ASICS to celebrate the Nimbus 28 launch

Another great evening with X at talking feet, injuries and running technique.

Loads of good questions, conversations and plenty of running chat.

Aliza took the lead on the night, working with the Friday Night Lights crew at One Track and sharing some insight on staying injury free and keeping runners on the road.

Aliza talked through the ASICS Nimbus 28 and why it’s a go-to for comfort, cushioning and longer, easier miles.

What a brilliant first night with and the .

We loved meeting you all hearing your running goals and chatting through how to keep feet feeling their best.

ASICS are celebrating the launch of the Nimbus 28 and we were excited to talk about why the right shoes matter so much for comfort performance and injury prevention.

Thank you to everyone who joined the run and stayed for our recovery session after. Helping runners stay strong and enjoy every mile is what we love doing.

We are saying a fond farewell to Alexa as she heads back to Australia after 18 months with us at Active Life Podiatry.

Alexa has been our go to MSK podiatrist, helping patients with foot and lower limb pain, orthotics, rehab, gait analysis and routine podiatry.

Her warmth, care and brilliant sense of humour have made her a true favourite with both patients and the team.

We will miss you Alexa. Wishing you the very best for your next chapter back down under.

Meet Penny 👋

Penny joins the Active Life team while completing her Masters in Podiatric Sports Medicine at Queen Mary University of London.

A former ballet teacher and examiner, she brings a deep understanding of movement and performance, with a special interest in dance and sports injuries.

Penny’s focus is helping every patient move better, stay pain free and perform at their best.
She will be available every Saturday for appointments and is looking forward to helping you.
