Christmas traditions around the world 🌍🎄 A wonderful afternoon yesterday travelling parts of the globe through Christmas traditions! A booklet of interesting traditions, facts & pictures was created for each resident to keep & look through as we read, discussed & took a keen interest in seeing how other cultures celebrate. We listened to Christmas songs/carols for each country & had some delicious traditional festive treats to try. From Stollen and Lebkuchen apricot-filled chocolate biscuits from Germany 🇩🇪 & Panettone from Italy 🇮🇹 to Snowball drinks using a liqueur from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 Residents expressed how much they enjoyed so we’ll be touring some more countries in the run up to Christmas 🎄🎅🏼

What a magical afternoon at the Hall Grange Christmas Party! 🎉🎄 Thank you to all residents families & friends who joined us and helped make it such a wonderful time ✨ A huge thanks to our amazing kitchen team for the delicious festive spread, singer Chase who entertained for over an hour, volunteers helping keep the drinks flowing and the Hall Grange team keeping the party atmosphere throughout with lots of karaoke, dancing, and plenty of Christmas cheer. It was truly heart-warming to see everyone come together and plenty of love, laughter, friendship & festive spirit ♥️🎅🏼🥂

We had the most wonderful time at Trinity School’s Christmas party yesterday evening! 🎉 A huge thank you to Trinity School for inviting us & for the talented students & team filling the night with fantastic acting, singing and musicians. We enjoyed a fun game of bingo, won some lovely raffle prizes, and were treated to refreshments throughout the event. A truly special evening ❤️🎄

From building the highest paper & tape tower and ping-pong ball bounce to word scrambles, memory games and quizzes, residents show great teamwork and fantastic spirit. A Saturday full of creativity from making Christmas cards to designing festive accessory pouches with fabric pens 🎨 We also dyed some socks as the tie dyeing activity was a hit previously & residents have since had a good wear out of the socks they created. A few more added to the collection to keep warm in style over the winter months 🎅🏼🦌❄️
