A lovely celebration of culture & creativity for Nowruz (Persian New Year) on the weekend 🇮🇷🎉 We enjoyed learning about Nowruz, painting colourful eggs, setting up a traditional Haft-Seen table & listening to traditional music 🥚🎨🍎🌸 We also made the most of the beautiful sunshine having light stretches and socialising with tea in the garden 🌳☀️

This month our chair travel took us to Japan 🇯🇵✨✈️ From using photos of beautiful cherry blossom trees to inspire creativity crafting blossom branches, drawing out Japanese symbols, learning new phrases & facts & tasting Japanese inspired treats to discovering famous landmarks, enjoying traditional music & dancing and finishing with a quiz 🌸🍡 Our chair travels have been a hit so far & a lovely way to experience & explore different cultures! We’ve ticked off Australia 🇦🇺 Italy 🇮🇹 & now Japan 🇯🇵 Next stop by residents request is Spain 🇪🇸🌍

A lovely trip on the mini bus to Knights Garden Centre in Warlingham yesterday 🌸☀️ We thoroughly enjoyed a walk around exploring the beautiful flowers & plants while taking in fresh air before stopping for a well deserved cup of tea, cake and a chat ☕️🍰 It was heartwarming to hear how much everyone enjoyed the trip with a resident reminiscing on visiting in the past with her son & another sharing ‘This is heaven to me’ and ‘I feel at home here.’💛 Stella had also been craving a coffee from Cafe Nero so was very pleased to go on a trip to Croydon last week & enjoyed a coffee & cinnamon bun, taking in the sights in Croydon and made friends on the bus ☕️ We are looking forward to the next outing 💖
