Patients visit their GP for a range of different reasons and sometimes these issues can be caused by non-medical matters such as loneliness, anxiety, unemployment, illness or debt.

We're very lucky to have two wonderful Social Prescribers working across all our practices in Canvey, who can help patients access the support they need. Here is feedback from some of the people the team has helped.

Cases of invasive meningococcal disease have been confirmed in Kent. Sadly, 2 people are known to have died. It's important to know the signs of symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia. Get more info from NHS.

They are usually booked via your own practice during the week, but some on-the-day appointments may be available - please call 07542 905713 between 9am and 5pm today (Saturday).
