Sleep matters, especially during the perimenopause and menopause.

Poor sleep can impact every aspect of our lives, from daily functioning to long-term health. More than half of menopausal/perimenopausal women struggle with sleep disturbances, and balance Menopause wants to hear about your experiences.

This anonymous survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is open to all women aged 18 years or over. Your feedback is invaluable in helping them understand the sleep symptoms you're facing and what factors influence them.

How do you know if I have insomnia?

The symptoms are usually if you regularly do the following;

✅ find it hard to go to sleep
✅ wake up several times during the night
✅ lie awake at night
✅ wake up early and cannot go back to sleep
✅ still feel tired after waking up
✅ find it hard to nap during the day even though you're tired
✅ feel tired and irritable during the day
✅ find it difficult to concentrate during the day because you're tired

Each appointment at The Insomnia Centre is conducted by an NHS-trained specialist sleep doctor trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for insomnia (CBT-i), the gold standard treatment for insomnia.

We are very pleased to have been invited to speak at National Express conference on sleep and driving.

Sleep has such a huge impact on every part of our lives including day-to-day wellbeing, physical and mental health, as well as road safety.

15-20% of road traffic accidents are related to sleepiness, which is an extremely challenging statistic.

It was a great opportunity to shed to light on the DVLA process for excessive sleepiness and driving, particularly regarding Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
