Take some time to move a bit slower today (it’s Sunday as I’m posting this) so that your body has time to process what’s working and what’s not

Strength is like compound interest:
pick 3–5 staple lifts;
choose a load that’s hard for 4 reps;
keep the setup the same;
add 1 rep each week (build to 10, then add weight).

Keep your favourite classes if you have time, but anchor 2 sessions/week on lifts you can repeat

I love my work so much I can only imagine how jealous my bed gets

But…

I know my body needs to rest, and the late nights aren’t sustainable so I’m being strict with myself tonight

Balance is knowing when to push and when to rest

When to run with the momentum and when to pause

When to listen to your mind and when to listen to your body

We all deserve to be in love with our own lives 💜

To be excited about what’s to come ✨

And to be willing to accept the struggles along the way 💪

These are the 3 things I’ve had to work on to make that a reality:

1. Ask yourself what makes you feel like you’re contributing to something bigger than yourself?
(This part might take the longest)

For me, it’s growing my business so that I can help other female founders create and grow while feeling their best

2. Audit your expenditures (time, money & energy) and cut down on things that don’t help you contribute to that thing
(Yes, sometimes that means letting go of things that give you comfort or validation)

I let go of powerlifting this year and had to say no to working towards competing at British Nationals

3. Double down on the things that move you forwards in whatever it is you decided on
(You might just need to put more resources into some of the things you’re already doing)

I’m turning all that extra time and energy towards growing the Balanced Founder Blueprint, and it’s giving me so much joy that I hope you all feel the same one day 💜
