Break up with Repeating Patterns

Let's explore a topic that can transform your life—repeating patterns. As an ICF certified life coach, I'm here to guide you on a journey of self-discovery and help you recognise and set yourself free from those patterns that no longer serve you.

Repeating patterns are cycles of behaviour, thoughts, or situations that keep showing up in your life. They might manifest as self-doubt, toxic relationships, or career stagnation. The first step to overcoming them is to recognise their presence.

Here's how you can spot repeating patterns:
1️⃣ Awareness: Pay attention to recurring situations and emotions that seem familiar. Notice any discomfort or negative outcomes associated with them.
2️⃣ Reflect: Take time to reflect on the underlying beliefs, fears, or past experiences that may be fueling these patterns. Journaling or seeking support from a trusted confidant can provide valuable insights.
3️⃣ Intentional Action: Once you've identified the pattern, set a clear intention to break free from it. Create a plan of action, seeking professional help if needed, to empower yourself and move forward.
4️⃣ Cultivate Self-Compassion: Remember, breaking patterns takes time and effort. Be patient with yourself, celebrate small victories, and practice self-compassion along the way.

🌟 Ride the Wave

Today I want to tell you about something that we all experience—Uncomfortable Feelings! Uncomfortable feelings are Sadness, Shame, Helplessness, Anger, Vulnerability, Embarrassment, Disappointment and Frustration.

Let me share with you some insights inspired by the powerful TED Talk by Joan Rosenberg on riding the wave of emotions and building emotional resilience. As an expert psychologist, Joan Rosenberg highlights the importance of embracing and processing our emotions. Instead of avoiding or suppressing them, we can learn to ride the wave, allowing ourselves to feel and grow through the experience. she also explains that these emotions come in waves of 60-90 seconds. Now if i tell you that its only 60 - 90 seconds each time, you’d be able to handle that right? It’s not endless, it starts and ends and if you’re aware of that then your brain would know how to better handle it. It comes in waves and are are more than one emotion at one time.

Here's how you can ride the wave of uncomfortable feelings:
1️⃣ Recognize and Name Your Emotions: Acknowledge what you're feeling. Give your emotions a name, as this simple act helps bring clarity and understanding.
2️⃣ Accept and Validate Your Emotions: Remember that all emotions are valid. Give yourself permission to feel without judgment or criticism. It's a natural part of being human.
3️⃣ Breathe and Ground Yourself: Take slow, deep breaths to calm your nervous system. Connect with the present moment through grounding techniques like feeling your feet on the ground.
4️⃣ Seek Support: Reach out to trusted friends, family, or professionals whocan provide a listening ear and guidance. You don't have to face challenging emotions alone.

Remember, by riding the wave of uncomfortable feelings, you empower yourself to grow stronger, wiser, and more resilient. Embrace your emotions, knowing that they are stepping stones toward personal transformation.

🌟 Break Free from Overthinking and Embrace the Present Moment! 🌟

Do you often find yourselves trapped in a loop in your mind? You know what I mean. Overthinking! It's time to break free from the cycle that robs us of joy and holds us back. As an ICF certified life coach, I'm here to share powerful insights and my trusted and true methods that will help you silence the noise and live a more fulfilling life.

In the heartwarming book "The Boy, the Mole, the Horse, and the Fox," there's a beautiful quote that resonates deeply: The boy says "I can't see a way through, the Horse asks "Can you see your next step?" The boy answers "Yes." The Horse replies "Then just take that." This reminds us that even when the path ahead seems unclear, taking one step at a time is all we need to move forward.

Overthinking not only clouds our minds but also affects our overall well-being. It leads to analysis paralysis, self-doubt, and missed opportunities. In the workplace, it can hinder productivity and decision-making, creating unnecessary stress and impacting career growth.

To break free from overthinking, lets hammer the nail on the head:

1️⃣ Embrace Mindfulness: Practice being fully present in the moment. Engage your senses, notice your thoughts without judgment, and redirect your focus to what's happening right now.

2️⃣ Challenge Your Thoughts: Question the validity of your overthinking patterns. Replace negative thoughts with positive affirmations and realistic perspectives.

3️⃣ Take Inspired Action: Break tasks into manageable steps and take action without over-analyzing. Progress is made through small, consistent actions.

4️⃣ Cultivate Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself and acknowledge that it's okay to make mistakes. Treat yourself with the same kindness you would offer a friend.

Remember, overthinking steals precious moments from the present. Break free from its grip and create a life filled with clarity, peace, and joy.

Let's tackle something we all struggle with at times: Procrastination. It's that sneaky habit that can hold us back from reaching our full potential. But fear not! Set Clear Goals: Start by defining your goals with precision. When you have a clear vision of what you want to achieve, it becomes easier to stay motivated and focused.
