Yesterday we attended the Movember event at Walworth Town Hall, bringing our wellbeing support directly into the community alongside other local organisations.

Movember isn’t just about moustaches, it’s a global movement highlighting men’s mental health, su***de prevention, and social connection. It’s a reminder that many men still struggle in silence due to stigma, cultural expectations, or lack of safe spaces.

At Together for Mental Wellbeing, when we talk about “men,” we mean all men, including trans men and anyone who identifies with manhood. Inclusive mental health support saves lives.

John, a representative from Future Men attended the event and will also contribute to our internal Together for Movember's event this coming Thursday. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a conversation, or asked about our services.

Do you believe in the power of shared experience and community support?

We’re seeking compassionate and reliable volunteers to co-facilitate a Men’s Peer Support Group, a safe space where men can talk openly about life’s challenges, including stress, relationships, work pressures, mental health.

🧠 At Together for Mental Wellbeing, our peer groups are built on lived experience, because sometimes the best support comes from someone who’s been there too.

By helping to run this group, you’ll be part of a wider effort to promote connection, resilience, and wellbeing across the Southwark community.
