They’re hoist bands, and they’re one of those features that might seem random until you realise how useful they are. Designed to support safe transfers, they sit flat and look clean but make all the difference when you need them. Fashion should be functional and still look good, this is both.

What’s in my pocket? Finally, something I can actually reach 👀💛

For so many of us, regular pockets are basically decoration. They’re too high, too tight or completely impossible to reach when seated. But with our seated cargos, every detail is designed with your body in mind.

The pockets are placed where you can reach them comfortably so you can actually use them day to day without struggling. It sounds small but it makes getting dressed feel a lot more like it should.

Millions of disabled people. And barely a rail of clothing made for them!

It is not that the need wasn’t there. It is that the industry chose not to see it. Adaptive fashion was either ignored or medicalised, never seen as something people could feel good in. That is exactly why Intotum exists because getting dressed should feel like you, not like a workaround.

People have always been adapting their clothes out of necessity. From DIY alterations to quick fixes that were never quite right, we’ve been making it work while the industry looked the other way. What we are doing now is not new. It is just finally being recognised as fashion.
