Give life to Mothers in Zimbabwe!

I would be delighted and very grateful if my message inspires you to contribute, but please don't feel obligated. I understand that you may already be supporting various causes.
Sadly, every year mothers die in childbirth due to lack of access to proper healthcare. We wish to make a difference to the lives of mothers in Zimbabwe by training doctors and midwives to handle obstetric emergencies and life threatening conditions, such major haemorrhages and pre-eclampsia.

- [ ] Week 3: Symptoms of Menopause

- [ ] It can be troublesome in many women and the symptoms begins when oestrogen starts to decline
- [ ] Sometimes it can be early as 10 years prior to the menopause
- [ ] Although most common symptoms are hot flushes, night sweats and vaginal dryness, there are many other symptoms such as anxiety/depression/low mood or urinary symptoms such as urge incontinence, recurrent urine infection and urgency.
- [ ] Often overlooked and only when referred to the Gynaecologist for irregular period, they are diagnosed and this can be at least 2-4 years later.
- [ ] It’s crucial for women to see her GP, menopause specialist or Gynaecologist if the symptoms are giving poor quality of life and interfering with day to day life.
- [ ] Know your symptoms of menopause!
