Pleased to showcase this case report on the potential devastating effects of necrotising fasciitis involving the head and neck. It serves as reminder that ‘simple tooth’ extractions in the immunocompromised patient can have severe complications. Necrotising fasciiitis is a relatively uncommon, rapidly progressing and often life threstening soft tissue infection. Early diagnosis, aggressive antibiotics and surgical treatment play a vital role in the management of the disease. In patients with resultant skin or soft tissue defects advanced reconstructive techniques are needed to close resultant defects.

Facial Trauma Treatment is regularly performed by Maxillofacial Surgeons. This case highlights the importance of decompressing a trapped nerve ( in this case the infraorbital nerve ) to help with pain as well restoring form and function.

Pleased to show case this Rhinoplasty. Not all rhinoplasties need to be dramatic changes. Our patient disliked her side and 3/4 profile and wanted to achieve a more pleasing profile with a slightly more supported tip. She and us are happy with the short term results. The final results will be at one year. Also pleased to report no functional or breathing difficulties post surgery which can always be a potential complication post surgery.
